Ingredients and allergies

Where to find the ingredients

The full ingredient list for each product is on its own product page, under the product details. It is also printed on the packaging.

Ingredient names follow the standard naming used on cosmetic packaging everywhere, so some of them look different from the everyday word for the same thing.

If you need to check a specific ingredient

If you have an allergy or a sensitivity and the product page does not answer your question, email us. Tell us:

  • Which product and shade you are asking about
  • The ingredient you need to check

Shades within the same product can differ, which is why the shade matters.

We check allergy questions carefully before we answer, so these can sometimes take a little longer. We would rather be certain than quick.

Patch testing

If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, we recommend speaking to your doctor or dermatologist and carrying out a patch test on a small area of skin before your first use, as you would with any cosmetic.

If you have already reacted to something

Stop using it and reach out to our customer support team. Our article on what to do if you have a reaction explains what to include.
