Choosing your shade

Picking a shade from photos on a screen is hard. Screens vary, lighting varies, and skin tone changes how a color sits. Here is how to get it right first time.

Lip Stain: take the quiz

A few quick questions and it matches you to your best shades, so you are not guessing from photos. It takes about 90 seconds.

Take the shade quiz

If you would rather read than click through a quiz, our color analysis guide matches shades to your season.

See it in action

Lip liner: match or go slightly deeper

For a natural look with the 360 Contour Lipliner, pick a pencil that matches your lip color or is slightly deeper, to enhance and define your lips.

Eyeliner: go by eye color

Every shade works on every skin tone, so pick by the look you want rather than your complexion. These are good starting points:

Eye color Try
Blue Brown Sugar, a dark terracotta
Brown Pine, a forest green
Green Eggplant, a deep purple
Grey Black Truffle, black with silver flecks
Hazel Gold Mocha, a brown bronze

These are suggestions, not rules. Any shade works if it is the look you are after.

Blush: two different things

  • pHLUSH Stick adjusts to your own skin chemistry, so there is no shade to choose. It works on cheeks, lips and lids.
  • Wonder Blading All-Day Blush Stain is a long-wear liquid stain in pickable shades.

The Blush Stain range is universal. Every shade flatters every complexion with no white cast or ashiness, so pick by the effect you want: something close to your natural flush for every day, something brighter for full glam.

If it is not the one

Lip Stains and foundations are covered by our Shade Match Promise: unlimited exchanges within 30 days of your original order's delivery, until you find the right one.

Other products can be exchanged under our standard returns policy, so you can try without worrying.
