About Lipstick Angels: Beauty That Heals

Lipstick Angels is a national non-profit dedicated to bringing oncology-sensitive, clean beauty, skincare, and wellness services to people affected by cancer within hospitals, cancer centres, and virtually from home. Their mission is simple yet profound: to spark empowerment and joy through the essential practice of self-care, helping individuals feel pampered, dignified, and whole along their treatment journey. 

Founded in March 2012 by Renata Helfman-Baron, a professional makeup artist whose own grandmother’s chemotherapy ritual always included a swipe of lipstick, Lipstick Angels was born from love and empathy. Renata saw, first-hand, in hospital corridors and treatment rooms, how a moment of care, touch, and human connection could lift spirits and restore identity - that ultimately beauty is healing.

Since then, Lipstick Angels has grown into a trusted partner to hospitals across the United States, serving over 100,000 patients with personalised sessions including facials, brow tutorials, and makeup application, all delivered with compassion and human connection in mind.  As the Lipstick Angels community grows, so does our intention to deepen our partnership and help Renata and her team bring the transformative power of beauty to more patients.
